The 25th anniversary of “Achy Breaky Heart” is here and it just so happens that Billy Ray Cyrus had decided to use this anniversary to announce he is legally changing his name. He just wants to be known now as Cyrus. “Cyrus” plans to go and legally change his name in his Kentucky hometown in the near future.

Shania Twain debuted her new single at Stagecoach Saturday night! Huge night for her and we are super excited to hear her new album but that wasn’t the major event of her Stagecoach performance Saturday night… she brought out Nick Jonas to sing an classic with her. Mary Smalls celebrated her 95th birthday on April 21st and she is a HUGE country music fan. Tim McGraw and Faith Hill met her backstage at their show in Charleston, SC and made this a birthday she will never forget…

Justin Moore is very very thankful for the volunteer fire department in his hometown of Poyen, Arkansas, after there was an accidental fire that broke out on his property and crews came and put it out quickly and without anyone getting injured. The fire started Monday (4/24) and burned through a portion of his farm’s pasture. Moore posted on his Twitter to thank the fire department for their help (below), along with the landscaping team who helped put his farmback together… Justin also shared pictures of the fire and the crews working to put it out.
